In the wake of all of the problems with the Obamacare rollout, Congressman Steve Daines (R-MT) and 32 other members of the House are calling on HHS Secretary Kathleen Sebelius to resign.
From The Examiner:
Fed up by the missed deadlines, trying to extort money from insurance companies, added costs, and complete nonfeasance in oversight of the Obamacare website, republicans are asking President Obama to send her packing. 33 republicans in the House signed the letter.
The Hill: Sebelius defiant amid calls to resign
“The majority of people calling for me to resign, I would say, are people I don’t work for, and who do not want this program to work in the first place,” she said at a press conference in Phoenix, Arizona.
Some Democrats have suggested someone should lose their job, although none have singled out Sebelius.
Meanwhile, the MSU-Billings political poll is out, and it didn’t take Montana Democrats too long to tout the poll, which was conducted during the government shutdown.
Last year Dems were bashing the same poll after it showed Republicans Rick Hill and Denny Rehberg leading their Democratic opponents. Both Republicans later lost the races for Governor and Senate, respectively.
The MSU-B poll shows Daines with a 39% approval rating, while Montanas Democratic US Senators Max Baucus and Jon Tester both see approval ratings in the low to mid 40’s.

Sebelius would be dismissed immediately were she employed by any private business.
Daines is correct in calling for her to step down.
Why are we paying this woman? She needs to be off the public payroll now!

Steve Daines must explain in detail exactly WHY he voted to “reopen the Govt” when his “vote” was not even needed to push the bill over the top, thanks to the Dem’s… ie: With well over 50 votes above the minimum needed – why did he side with the Admin/Dem’s and add his voice to that sad excuse of NO COST CUTTING, NO budget cutting, no Obamacare delays, etc. There was NOTHING of substance in that final bill — ONLY A bunch OF PORK SPENDING that looks a lot like a payoff!.. He continues to talk big, but his actual voice, the recorded vote in the House speaks otherwise!
Come clean now, or kiss any chance at re election or Senate bid goodbye!

Dismissing or “canning” is old school… In today’s world everything needs to be documented, studied, analyzed, and then you are retired or placed in a back room. Instead of facing the fact that bucking up and her handing in a resignation, this gal will drag it on and it will cost millions to “relocate” her.
So sad that this is how our country manages it’s top leaders down to a janitors position. We don’t want to hurt the feelings of one person who is creating a fiasco and dooming the millions who that have a working health care provider.
