“All the King’s horses and all the King’s men”…the national news outlets are swarming my blog post from earlier this morning, after Sen. Max Baucus (D-MT) referred to Obamacare like Humpty Dumpty.
Check out this graphic from John Nolte’s piece at Breitbart.com:

Nolte added:
What is notable about Baucus’ seriously considering this defection, is that he is not a vulnerable Democrat. Baucus has already announced his retirement in2014, probably knowing that after his ObamaCare vote he had little chance of winning re-election.
The Washington Post and The Hill are also unafraid to walk on egg shells apparently.
The Post has this:
Baucus added during the interview that he had just thought to compare the law to the the nursery rhyme character, who “all the king’s horses and all the king’s men” failed to put back together after it fell off a wall.
Baucus is not the first member of Congress to use the metaphor. Rep. Tim Huelskamp (R-Kan.), a top Obamacare opponent, used it back in July.
On Wednesday, nine House Democrats proposed legislation that would delay the penalty associated with the individual health insurance mandate under ObamaCare until the HealthCare.gov site is fully functional.
The administration has vowed the site will be running smoothly for most users by the end of November. The uninsured seeking coverage through the federal exchanges have until March 31 to purchase healthcare or face a penalty.
CBS-TV in DC:
The chairman of the Senate Finance Committee wants Health and Human Services Secretary Kathleen Sebelius to be more forthcoming when she testifies next week.
CBS News reported Thursday that only six people enrolled through the Obamacare website in the first 24 hours when the website launched Tuesday, Oct. 1. By the end of Wednesday, Oct. 2 there were 248 enrollments.
The Montana GOP was quick to seize on the remarks as well:
Montanans have known for months that Obamacare isn’t ready for primetime— and that despite President Obama’s numerous promises, it’s not looking like all of the king’s horses and all of the king’s men will be able to put this failed law together anytime soon.
So where do Democrats John Lewis and John Walsh stand?
Will they stand by the 20,000 Montanans who have seen their insurance plans discontinued under Obamacare and call for a delay of the healthcare law?
Do they agree with the majority of Montanans who oppose Obamacare?
Or will they remain in lock step with President Obama and defend this failed law and it’s disastrous affects on Montanans?
Lewis and Walsh can continue to hide from the cameras and run from the issues, but Montanans deserve answers.

We are a nation of laws. Obamacare is the law of the land. A major reason our founders decided we should be a Republic, therefore a nation ruled by laws and not by rule of man, was because there are ways to change the laws under which we are governed.
Over the course of our history bad laws have been written, enforced for a time, then altered or struck from the books.
Obamacare is one of those laws…let us repeal it and start anew using input from those who must live under the law, the people, the doctors, and the hospitals, leaving out the politicians and the bureaucrats!
