This story out of Spokane, Washington gets more bizarre with each report.
I read in The Washington Post that Rachel Dolezal, the woman in charge of the Spokane NAACP who faked being an African American, was at Howard University likely around the same time I was a student there. (And here I thought I was the only Montanan at Howard at the time) Turns out she claimed to be black back then too, and got a full ride scholarship as a result. Meanwhile, I got the “white privilege” of taking out some pretty big student loans. (Even if I wanted to claim I was black, I think my John Elway jersey was a dead giveaway on campus)
As I shared earlier Friday morning, it turns out Dolezal is from Libby, Montana.
She’s almost becoming public enemy #1. I think maybe we as Montanans need to accept her courage as the first prominent transracial leader from Montana.
The UK Daily Mail has a list of just some of the claims made by Dolezal:
Dolezal’s claim she was born in a tepee.
‘Totally false,’ said her mother. She and Dolezal’s father once lived in a tepee but it was before Dolezal was born.
Dolezal’s claim her parents punished her ‘by skin complexion’ with a ‘baboon whip’ reminiscent of those once used on slaves.
‘She is fabricating a very false and malicious lie,’ Ruthanne said.
Dolezal’s claim that Larry Dolezal, who is white, is actually her stepfather.
‘Anybody who lives in the town of Troy or Libby knows that Larry is her father,’ Ruthanne said.

Hmm..Lying seems to be a Liberal thing…LOL, your comment makes you look so stupid. It seems to support the notion that Republicans are stupid, but most liberals would admit that not all Republicans are stupid.
