Breitbart: Baucus Should Apologize

Breitbart.com’s Mike Flynn put together a top 10 list of Democrats who need to apologize.  This, after the “if you like your plan, you can keep it” has now turned out to be false.

Topping the list- Senator Max Baucus (D-MT):

1. SEN. MAX BAUCUS (D-MT): “That is why one of the central promises of health care reform has been and is: If you like what you have, you can keep it. That is critically important. If a person has a plan, and he or she likes it, he or she can keep it.” (Sen. Baucus, Congressional Record, S.7676, 9/29/10)

Sen. Baucus wrote most of the bill that became ObamaCare. He has been steeped in health care policy for decades. He was in a position to know, and had to know, that the “central promise” that people could keep their current health care coverage was a lie.

He should apologize, but unfortunately, he has chosen to retire rather than face the voters. I can only hope he does not go softly into the night.

Meanwhile, Montana Media Trackers compiled the 13 small Montana towns which all have populations greater than the number of Montanans statewide who have enrolled in the Obamacare exchanges.  Click here for the full list.

And what, or who, is behind the two men battling it out to be the Democratic nominee to attempt to replace Senator Baucus? The liberal blog 4&20 Blackbirds offers this:

It seems we have the Brian (Schweitzer) to thank for the primary battle between the two Johns, Bohlinger and Walsh. You see, Brian plucked these two men from obscurity so, because Brian conjured their political worth out of thin air, he obviously feels obligated to insert himself into this surprise primary, a primary I wouldn’t be surprised he had a hand in creating.
