Why not build a new refinery in Eastern Montana in order to support all of the Bakken oil development? That’s the obvious question after reading this piece by The Daily Caller showing how the federal government is helping to finance an oil refinery….in Turkey:
Despite President Barack Obama’s promise that the U.S. government would not fund coal plants overseas, the U.S. Export-Import Bank authorized a nearly $641 million loan to build an oil refinery in Turkey that will use American-made equipment.
“This is the exact kind of refinery that we cannot get permitted here in the U.S.,” Daniel Kish, vice president of the Institute for Energy Research, told The Daily Caller News Foundation. “The federal government will support the construction of facilities and infrastructure in other countries that they won’t allow to be built in the U.S.”
“It would take you 12 to 15 years to go through the permitting process,” Charles Drevna, president of the American Fuel & Petrochemical Manufacturers, told TheDCNF. He added that companies could “spend hundreds of millions of dollars with no certainty of the project being approved” making it far easier to just expand existing refineries.

I have never in my life seen such an ANTI American Government with a KING as the head #@&*% followed by
a parade of yes men and we can start with Tester and Baucus.In my opinion we need to clean house completly start from scratch nation wide rid ourselves of career polititions sounds wonderful to me,do I think it will ever happen?

I agree – out with the entire bunch! Term limits! Jail terms for those violating our laws!
As for a refinery… Where are our INDIAN NATIONS?.. Their “lands” are unique when it comes to doing “anything”. And, we are “central” to the shale oil areas, including the “arch”.
Besides – are such lands, for a refinery, just in the USA or are they INSIDE MONTANA ?… Toss ’em out on their ear and build what is needed and profitable.

I could not have said it better Mr.Frost, why is it that all of these Obama yes men cry poverty but they can LOAN (yeah right) 641 Million $$$$ to Turkey which is primarily a Muslim country and people who believe they are our friends and they Love us are misguided or do I dare say just plain stupid.Just pickup a copy of their sacred Koran and start reading.Obama is clearly ANTI American otherwise he would be doing everything in his power to make us a self sufficient nation like we use to be.A comedy skit recently on tv stated it’s good to be Dah “King”
but it in this case it’s far from funny!
