Wisconsin Governor Scott Walker is headlining a fundraiser for Republican gubernatorial candidate Rick Hill in Kalispell next week, according to the Hill campaign website.
Walker attracted national attention and survived a recall election after battles with public employee unions. The successful battle has turned Walker into a star among the nation’s conservatives.
The October 11th fundraiser at the fairgrounds in Kalispell follows yet another visit to the Big Sky State by New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie (R). Christie first headlined a Hill fundraiser in Missoula and will be in Billings on October 5th stumping for Congressman Denny Rehberg (R-MT) along with another event for Hill in Bozeman on the same day.

“We’re excited to have Governor Christie join us in Montana to support Denny as we enter the home stretch in this critical Senate race. Like Denny, Chris Christie knows that to create jobs and get our economy back on track, we’ve got to get Washington’s excessive taxes, spending and red tape off the backs of our job creators, and that’s what this election is all about.” —Chris Bond, Rehberg Spokesman
