He’s goin’ back to Cali. That’s right, Senator Jon Tester (D-MT) is headed back to San Francisco for another fundraiser, at least according to this post by the Bay Area Democrats.
It is the weekend before the primary election here in Montana. Rather than campaigning along with his fellow Democrats here in Montana the weekend before the election, instead it appears Senator Jon Tester (D-MT) is quite the San Francisco treat. Tonight, Sen. Tester heads back to the city for his 2nd known major fundraiser, this time sponsored by California US Senator Dianne Feinstein (D) .
Joe Garofoli with The San Francisco Chronicle has this:
The soiree starts at 6:30 p.m. for a Heartland Victory Fund moneystuff-a-thon for Democratic Sen. Jon Tester of Montana, former-and-possibly-future Sen. Bob Kerrey of Nebraska and candidate Heidi Heitkamp of South Dakota.
Getting an invite to DiFi’s is a godsend for these three who come from states where the number of megabucks Dem fundraisers can share a cab to the airport. According to the invite, an individual can contribute as much as $53,300 to the Heartland Victory fund while a couple can double that.
Up to $53K per head. Wow. You ranchers getting that down at PAYS or the BLS?

This is Tester’s second known major fundraiser in San Francisco.
You may recall this post from Tester’s previous fundraiser in San Francisco back in June 2011. That’s when the Chronicle spoke of that “wolf thing.”
